Description
- This lovely vintage Navajo sandcast bracelet dates to the 1960s. It features a graceful, balanced design typical of sandcast bracelets, with fan shapes, flowing lines, and openwork. In the center is a Blue Gem turquoise stone. The turquoise is a gorgeous peacock blue with some coppery matrix and a smooth, polished surface. The stone is set in a decorative toothed bezel and surrounded by thick twisted wire.
- The inside measurement is 5-7/8, with a 7/8 gap, for a total of 6-3/4. There is very little flexibility to adjust the size. The bracelet measures 1-5/8, top to bottom, at the center.
- The bracelet is unmarked sterling. The initials MKK are scratched on the inside. This could be the mark of the silversmith, or of a previous owner. This vintage Navajo sandcast bracelet is in excellent condition.
