Description
- This is a charming Zuni parrot pin or pendant done in high quality channel inlay. The parrot has a pale yellow mother of pearl head and tailfeathers, a bright white cheek, a red coral throat, pink mother of pearl breast, black jet beak and wingtips, and blue turquoise wings and tailfeather tips.
- There are lots of silver balls all around the parrot, as well as a horseshoe shaped silver claw on the left.
- The pin measures 1-5/8 inches high by 1-1/4 inches wide. On the back is a silver wire bale measuring about 3/16 inch which would allow this to be worn as a pendant on a chain or cord. The pin is unmarked sterling and appears to be signed with a handwritten, engraved signature on the back which is illegible. The piece is in new, never worn condition.
